Sean Caveille film-maker

During 20 years of making films I have worked on a vast number of projects across most styles and genres of film, video & TV. I specialize in what can be broadly described as documentary: video essays that focus on a particluar subject through non-fiction film.

I shoot and edit all my own work and have worked as crew on other productions such as the BBC's Timewatch series. I also make work for clients, filming and editing material across a variety of subjects.

My interests in film and archaeology merged when I began making educational videos for museums and the web. This developed into a sharper, more artistically satisfying form of film/archaeology expression, with short films such as Ephemera.

Recently my work has become more social history orientated with a particular focus on the people who lived through WWII: Shadows is a feature length WWII documentary that I completed in 2008.

Video work for clients includes promotional films for local authorities, music videos, schools concert filming, performing arts work and much more besides. Please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss any potential work.
